My name is Rokas. I’m a Lithuanian guy that educated Aikido for 14 years, 7 of them running an expert Aikido Dojo till eventually I recognized that Aikido does not meet what it guarantees.

Lead by this awareness I determined to make a bold step to shut my Aikido Dojo and transfer to Portland, Oregon for six months to begin educating MMA at the well-known Straight Blast Gym Headquarters under head train Matt Thornton.

After 6 months extensive training I had my first amateur MMA battle after which I relocated back to Lithuania. During every one of this time I am recording my experience with my YouTube channel called “Martial Arts Journey”.

Currently I am gradually establishing up plans to continue training MMA under top quality guidance and preparing for my next MMA battle as I better document and share my trip and explorations.
